A scuba diver searching for a $1 million megalodon tooth had their attempt end bloody after going under.
Bryce with Outdoors Weekly is a treasure hunter, scuba diver, and explorer who was on the search for a Megalodon tooth over 8 inches in order to win a prize. He had a full weekend to make his find when he set out and had high hopes.
He starts off strong on his first day and makes some decent finds, but nothing comes close to the tooth he needs. His first day ends in a bust for the prized tooth search.
Unfortunately, day 2 doesn’t start off the best for Bryce. While acclimating to the black water he’s diving in, he rapidly starts losing vision in. Once he returns to the surface he realizes blood vessels burst in his eyes which caused his mask to fill with blood.
It’s lucky it wasn’t something more serious, but it just goes to show that anything can happen underwater.
