This mom didn’t waste any time in dealing with a raccoon that bit her daughter as she was trying run inside the house.
“It was wrapping its arms around my leg,” 5-year-old Rylee MacNamara explained. “It really hurt.”
Rylee’s mother, Logan, heard her daughters screams and rushed to grab the raccoon off of her hurled it into the yard after a brief struggle.
“I was going out to get on the bus and a racoon was there and tried to attack me,” said Rylee. “It didn’t want to go off of my leg.”
Logan knew something was wrong when she heard screaming, but she wasn’t expecting a rabid raccoon attack.
“I thought maybe she slammed her finger in the door. I definitely wasn’t expecting to see a raccoon wrapped around her leg,” she said.
Animal control attempted to find the animal after the attack but was unsuccessful.
Let this mother’s response be a lesson to any future animals that plan on terrorizing her kid at the bus stop.
