New Boat Goofin: Angler Pumps Gas Into Rod Holder

| | | 0 comments

One angler in Australia had a very costly mistake when he fueled up his rod holder instead of the gas tank on his boat.

A Facebook video of the mishap shows that a lot of gas had been pumped before anyone caught the mistake.

“Guys don’t make this mistake ever,” the man recording says as he shows that $536.76 worth of fuel had been pumped.

That’s about $372.62 US for anyone keeping track.

Plenty of people have given the angler a ton of grief over the accident, while others have said they know what it’s like.

It’s an expensive mistake no one is likely to live down for a long time whichever way you look at it.

What’s your opinion? Is it a dumb mistake or could it happen to anyone?
